We’re firm believers in the fact successful IT projects are about more than just technology. They’re about having the best team in place to deliver industry-leading solutions that continuously push the boundaries and deliver the best return on investment.

Not only do we recruit the best IT talent around, we’re constantly investing in the training and development of our team to make sure we continue to provide our clients with the best possible results.

Over the last few months, we’ve strengthened our Enterprise Architecture skills by passing our TOGAF 9.2 Foundation and Certification Exams.

What is TOGAF?

It’s a proven Enterprise Architecture methodology and framework, or standard, that’s been developed by the Open Group. It’s used by the world’s leading organisations to improve business efficiency.

Fundamentally, TOGAF provides software development specialists, like us, with a set of consistent standards and methods to implement in our everyday work. As a result, TOGAF professionals are recognised as being part of a wider group of industry experts, who have the insight and expertise to utilise resources more efficiently and effectively.

The TOGAF community is recognised as being ahead of the curve, not just in relation to delivering the highest quality work, but implementing market-leading Enterprise Architecture insight.

What does being TOGAF-certified mean for us?

It reinforces our commitment to delivering industry-leading solutions, no matter how complex the requirements at hand may be.

Due to the fact TOGAF is essentially a framework, it provides us with the structure, steps, order of actions and background knowledge on how to manage Enterprise Architecture transformations effectively.

Over time, it’s common for people to pick up different techniques and ways of working based on their experience. Now that we’ve studied TOGAF, we’re all following the same disciplined approach. Furthermore, because the framework is currently on version 9.2, we’re standing on the shoulders of those who have been pioneering IT transformations since TOGAF started in 1995.

What does being TOGAF-certified mean  for our clients?

As individuals, it’s impossible to amass the cumulative knowledge that exists within the TOGAF framework. Having studied and being certified in using TOGAF provides us, and our clients, with peace of mind that we are using a framework that’s been consciously improved and battle-tested over time.

On a day-to-day basis, it provides us with guidance and strategies on how to interpret certain situations, such as improving and managing the governance, risk and requirements to facilitate change. And as added value and opportunities are only achieved through change, we believe this recent certification bolsters our commitment to meeting, and exceeding, our clients’ requirements, where possible.
